"Our only experience has been with Crystal Choi, and it has been ROUGH. We recently moved to GA and switched our car insurance from Illinois to GA on the phone (mid-December 2022). Ms Choi then desperately calls, texts, and emails me on December 30th, frantically trying to get some basic information they missed during the transfer process (my husband's driver's license, etc) to send to the underwriter. I work at a hospital and have extremely limited access to my phone/email during the day. Once I finally saw all of these texts/emails, I sent her my husband's information, as he has better access to email/phone during the day. Essentially, she messed up and made her lack of planning our emergency. My husband sent her the information needed the following day (when he had access to a scanner and could send a copy of his license). A week later, we get a letter dated January 4th, 2023, stating that they are cancelling our policy because we didn't give them sufficient information. Not true, as we had already provided that. I emailed, Ms Choi assured me all was good and I could ignore the letter. Then we get a letter with a refund check dated January 11th 2023, that again states we have been cancelled. I finally called Ms Choi to ask what the deal was, and she blamed me/my husband for "not getting information to them quickly" and stated they are not dropping us, no matter what all of these letters say. I stated my frustration and asked for confirmation in writing that we are not being cancelled. She sent a very informal email later that day. I would NOT recommend this place. A lack of planning on their part does not constitute an emergency on my part....and then to be BLAMED for that lack of planning was nuts. We are actively looking for another company and will be switching asap."
